While contracting at Expedia, we got to spend two days working on a hackathon project. While this never got built, I did design and present my app idea. The idea was a way for a user to collect their trip. Using the Expedia itinerary, the app would know when and where the user is traveling to. From there they could add photos, check in to locations and then share it with their friends. I did a design for both mobile phones and tablets with the idea that more people check in and takes photos from their phone and are more likely on their tablet to view their trip and their friends trips. This app was to serve as a way to inspire people to travel after viewing their friend's trips. Users would be able to view and then book a hotel their friends stayed in or view flights to that city. Activites and car rentals could be suggested to the user in their trip stream and serve as ad space.
